the reaction ~some~ people on twitter are having to what mitch marner has been saying about the genuine safety concerns he ended up dealing with in toronto is making me feel crazy…you’d think he said that every single leafs fan to ever exist is a piece of shit with the way they’re responding when all he did was tell the truth about some of the poor experiences he’s had with the minority of the fanbase. like??? he is not a ROBOT that’s actually a human being!! who can’t just ignore things like people showing up to his house after his address was leaked !!! and he’s allowed to talk about these things, too — he shouldn’t have to just be silent and protect the feelings of the like 2% who acted batshit insane over *checks notes* a hockey player not performing to the level they wanted.

ohhhhhh it’s truly one of my favorite things. one of the video coaches? trainers? made fun of how he threw a football & he took over the locker room whiteboard to develop a full football au in response. i Do Not know football and cannot weigh in on his roster placement but it’s one of the key pieces of robo lore to me.
